Article 1: General provisions
EDU-TECH, a Private Limited Company, established at Maria-Theresiastraat 45 3000 LEUVEN , VAT BE0695432689 , RPR division Leuven, (hereinafter “EDU-TECH”) offers its customers the opportunity to purchase the products and services.
These General Terms and Conditions (“Conditions”) apply to any order placed (“Customer”). When placing an order via the online shop, email, telephone or any other communication medium, the Customer must expressly accept these Terms and Conditions, thereby agreeing to the applicability of these Terms and Conditions to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions. Additional terms and conditions of the Customer are excluded, except when previously, in writing and expressly accepted by EDU-TECH.
Article 2: Price
All prices stated are expressed in EURO, always excluding VAT and all other taxes or duties, unless otherwise stated. If transport, delivery, reservation or administrative costs are charged, this will be stated separately.
The indication of price refers exclusively to the articles or services as described verbatim. The accompanying photos are for decorative purposes only and may contain elements not included in the price.
Article 3: Offerings
Despite the fact that the online catalogue and e-commerce websites are compiled with the greatest possible care, it is still possible that the information offered is incomplete, contains material errors, or is not up-to-date. Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer do not bind EDU-TECH. Regarding the correctness and completeness of the offered information, EDU-TECH is only bound by an obligation of means. Under no circumstances is EDU-TECH liable in case of manifest material errors, typesetting or printing errors.
If the Customer has specific questions e.g. about specifications, limitations, availability, delivery time or delivery method, we request the Customer to contact our customer service department in advance.
The offer is always valid while stocks last and may be amended or withdrawn by EDU-TECH at any time. EDU-TECH cannot be held liable for the unavailability of a product. If an offer has a limited period of validity or is made subject to conditions, this is explicitly stated in the offer.
Article 4: Payments

Article 5: Delivery and execution of the agreement
Items ordered may be delivered by a delivery service chosen by EDU-TECH.
Unless otherwise agreed or expressly stipulated, the goods will be delivered to the Customer’s official address within 30 days of receiving the order. EDU-TECH shall not be liable for delays caused by external partners responsible for delivery.
Any visible damage and/or qualitative deficiency of an item or other failure in delivery must be reported by the Customer to EDU-TECH without delay.
The risk due to loss or damage shall pass to the Customer as soon as he (or a third party designated by him, who is not the carrier) has taken physical possession of the goods.
Edu-Tech shall at all times be entitled to cancel or reschedule a scheduled course to another date, without being held liable and without compensation. In the event of cancellation of a refresher course, Edu-Tech shall notify the course participants in good time. If a course has to be rescheduled, already registered course participants may deregister.
Article 6: Retention of title
The delivered items remain the exclusive property of EDU-TECH until full payment by the Customer.
The Customer undertakes, if necessary, to draw the attention of third parties to EDU-TECH’s retention of title, e.g. to anyone who would come to seize the items not yet paid in full.
Article 7: Right of withdrawal
Cancellation for a course in group or course at your school should always be made in writing (by e-mail) to [email protected].
The following rules apply:
- The cancellation is only effective after the Customer has received confirmation of the cancellation from [email protected].
- Cancelling more than one month before the start of the in-service training can be done free of charge.
- For cancellations less than one month before the start of the in-service training, 100% of the amount will remain due.
Cancelling for online training is not possible. If you cannot attend live, you will still have access to the recording and/or digital material.
Cancelling for a certification should always be done in writing (by e-mail) to [email protected].
The following rules apply:
- The cancellation is only effective after the Customer has received a confirmation of the cancellation from [email protected].
- Cancelling more than one month before the start of the certification is completely free of charge, with the exception of the price of the exam (voucher) itself.
- If cancelling less than one month before the start of the certification, 100% of the amount remains payable.
Article 8: Warranty
The provisions of this article apply only to Customers who purchase items online from EDU-TECH in their capacity as consumers. Corporate customers cannot invoke a consumer warranty. They can only invoke the manufacturer’s warranty.
Pursuant to the Act of 21 September 2004 on consumer protection in the sale of consumer goods, consumers have legal rights. This legal guarantee applies from the date of delivery to the first owner. Any commercial guarantee does not affect these rights.
To invoke the warranty, the Customer must be able to provide proof of purchase. Customers are advised to keep the original packaging of the goods.
For items that were purchased and delivered to the Customer’s home, the Customer must contact EDU-TECH customer service and return the item to EDU-TECH at the Customer’s expense.
If a defect is found, the Customer must inform EDU-TECH as soon as possible. In any case, any defect must be reported by the Customer within a period of 2 months after its detection. Thereafter, any right to repair or replacement expires.
The guarantee (commercial and/or legal) shall never apply to defects arising as a result of accidents, neglect, falls, use of the article contrary to the purpose for which it was designed, non-compliance with the instructions for use or manual, modifications or alterations to the article, heavy-handed use, poor maintenance, or any other abnormal or incorrect use.
Defects that manifest themselves after a period of 6 months following the date of purchase, if applicable delivery, are deemed not to be hidden defects, subject to proof to the contrary by the Customer.

Article 10: Penalties for non-payment
Without prejudice to the exercise of other rights available to EDU-TECH, in the event of non-payment or late payment, the Customer shall be liable, ipso jure and without formal notice, to pay interest of 10% per annum on the unpaid amount from the date of default. In addition, the Client shall be liable, ipso jure and without formal notice, to pay a fixed compensation of 10% on the amount concerned, with a minimum of €25 per invoice.
Without prejudice to the foregoing, EDU-TECH reserves the right to take back the items not (fully) paid for.
Article 11: Privacy
The controller, EDU-TECH, respects the General Data Protection Regulation and the Belgian Privacy Act of 30 July 2018.
The personal data communicated by you will only be used for the following purposes: the performance of the concluded agreement, processing the order, sending newsletters, advertising and/or marketing purposes. The legal grounds are:. performance of the agreement, consent, fulfilment of legal and regulatory obligations and/or legitimate interest the company.
You have a legal right to access and possibly correct, supplement or delete your personal data. You may also ask to restrict the processing of your personal data in a number of cases listed in the AVG. You may also oppose the processing of your personal data if you have serious and legitimate reasons to do so that override our need to process your data. Through a written, dated and signed request to EDU-TECH, you may request your personal data in digital and readable form free of charge and/or have it transferred to other controllers. Insofar as our processing is based on your prior consent, you have the right to withdraw such consent.
In case of use of data for direct marketing: You may oppose the use of your data for direct marketing free of charge and do not have to provide a reason for doing so.

We treat your data as confidential information and will not transfer, rent or sell it to third parties. It is possible that personal data obtained may be passed on to companies cooperating with us.

Article 13: Infringement of validity - non-violation
Failure at any time by EDU-TECH to enforce any of the rights enumerated in these Terms, or to exercise any right hereunder, shall never be deemed a waiver of such provision and shall never affect the validity of such rights.

The courts of the Consumer’s place of residence have jurisdiction in the event of legal disputes. The Consumer may also turn to the ODR platform (http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/).
