Welcome to the Digital Education Innovator track

On this page you can access the video recordings for each module as well as find the materials and shortcuts. These videos are kept quite general and a condensed version of what is said in the physical sessions.

After each video, there is an assignment to complete in your own OneNote.

Discover your strengths

1. Introduction to Strengths

The first of a series around your personal strengths in your teaching and professional personal skills:

  • What is your strength?
  • What pitfalls?
  • Examine yourself?

To do so, use this web page to analyze your strengths

2. Getting started with the IAM

Now that you know what your strengths are we are going to explore the I (Insight) in your IAM:

  • What are your strengths?
  • Create keywords?
  • Find a cute Emoji

To do this, use the IAM form in your OneNote.

3. Give Meaning and Impact

Now that you have an understanding of your own strengths, we look for what makes a class day or a lesson so good for you.

  • What makes a lesson/day good?
  • What does this good feeling give you?
  • How does this stem from your own strengths?
  • How does this impact your teaching and your students?

4. Work with your counterpart

Now that you have examined yourself and know your own strengths, you may look at teaching differently. But you have 5 out of 20 strengths. Which 5 are least strong with you and how do they impact education?

  • Who is your opposite?
  • What are you right and what are you different?
  • How do you look at teaching differently?
  • What would you give as advice? What advice did you receive?

1. Presentation of material forms

After developing your vision for education and discovering yourself, it is fascinating to see how we deal with digital teaching materials:

  • What forms of Multimedia exist?
  • What forms of teaching materials do you use?
  • What advantages does each material have?
  • How do you experience these forms?

After this video, you will investigate for yourself in practice how this works and use THIS web page.

2 How to get started with digital learning materials

Now that you’ve experienced what each material form feels like, ask yourself how to make it all. We give an insight into how our teacher himself builds his lessons and what tools exist:
